The work for which Proposals are to be received:
C.I.P.P. SEWER MAIN REHABILITATION PROJECTS
Project 10-22-09 City Wide Storm Lining
Project 04-22-11 City Wide Sanitary Sewer Lining
The work consists of the rehabilitation of approximately 512 feet of
54-inch sewer main using C.I.P.P., 195 feet of 36-inch sewer main
using C.I.P.P., 245 feet of 27-inch sewer main using C.I.P.P., 2,002
feet of 15-inch sewer main using C.I.P.P, 854 feet of 12-inch sewer
main using C.I.P.P., 1,207 feet of 10-inch sewer main using C.I.P.P.,
2,527 feet of 8-inch sewer main using C.I.P.P., and all appurtenances
necessary to complete the sewer main rehabilitation work as shown on
the drawings and as specified.
Proposals shall be properly and completely
executed on the standard Proposal Form obtainable from the office of
the Engineer, with fully executed Non-collusion Affidavit required by
the statutes of the State of Indiana. Form 96, Contractors Bid for
Public Works, shall accompany all bids as prescribed by the Indiana
State Board of Accounts. Any proposal not accompanied by the above required items
may be deemed to be a non-responsive bid by the Owner.
No consideration for escalation of prices can be considered, and
therefore contractors are advised not to include any such escalation
clauses in their proposals for this project.
No bidder may withdraw his Proposal within a period of 60 days
following the date set for receiving Proposals. The Utility Service
Board reserves the right to retain any and all Proposals for a period of
not more than 90 days, and said Proposals shall remain in full force
and effect during said time. The Marion Utility Service Board further
reserves the right to waive informalities and to award the contract to
the lowest and most responsible bidder or bidders, all to the
advantage of the Marion Utility Service Board, or to reject all
Proposals.
