Renovation of a municipal facility in Danville, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Proposed forms of contract documents, including specifications governing the work, are on file at the aforementioned office. Copies of the documents may be obtained without charge ( one copy per approved contractor) from the City Purchasing Department. Attention is called to the provisions for equal employment opportunity, Davis- Bacon Act wages, Contract Wage and Hour and other matters required in connection with the HOME and/ or Community Development Block Grant funds being utilized to finance this rehabilitation. Only bidders who are licensed contractors and prequalified with the City of Danville will be considered. The City and Owner reserve the right to accept the lowest responsible bid, and to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in bidding. The City shall act as Owner' s agent during the bidding process and the City of Danville' s Procurement Policy adopted December 14, 1982, as amended from time to time, shall apply to the material aspects of the bidding process, the construction contract, and the work thereunder. The Scope of work includes: Painting, Heating, Electrical. Sheetrock, Plumbing Bathroom Remodel, Roofing, Windows, Masonry, Siding. Flooring and Miscellaneous Carpentry The building will be Occupied Approximate contract date: September 2022
