The City of Surrey (the "City") wishes to engage the services of a qualified consulting firm (the "Consultant") to undertake a SkyTrain Urban Interface Design Study (the "Study"). The Study will support the development of public realm design guidelines to mitigate visual and acoustic impacts of the Surrey-Langley Skytrain ("SLS") on adjacent spaces and buildings along the SLS Corridor (the "Study Area"). The Services will include but not limited to the supervision, coordination of an acoustic Consultant and any additional sub-consultants as needed. The Consultant will manage and ensure that all sub-consultants carry out and deliver the related scope of work. The Study will examine the relationship between future development of the SkyTrain infrastructure and provide recommendations and design guidelines in a manner that mitigates visual and acoustical impacts of the SkyTrain infrastructure on future development while meeting key Study objectives outlined below.
