Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Westminster, Maryland. Working plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

This project will use the Grading Only Plans dated April 2022 as a complete Scope of Work. Listed below are some areas of clarification under that Scope of work. The plans reference a Geo-tech throughout the project. All work that requires or may require a Geo-tech will be the sole responsibly of the contractor. The Geotech report provided by the county can be used by the bidder at their discretion. This will need to be accounted for in the bid. All reports from the Geo-tech will need to be reviewed by the County before the start of the project. Review and comply with General Notes section of the Grading Plans (Sheet 1 of 7) Review and comply with Sequence of Construction (sheet 6 of 7) Under Sequence of Construction (sheet 6 of 7) I. Copies of The ALL-Clear reports from Miss Utility will need to be submitted to the project manager prior to any work being preformed II. Line # 12 is not in scope and is not the responsibly of the contractor. Correction on sheet 2 of 7, any utilities inside or close to the LOD will be the contractors reasonability to locate and confirm. If any work requires relocation or a disruption of a utility service, then it will be considered in the Scope of Work and included as an option within the submittal. This will be the responsibility of the contractor and need to be accounted for in the bid. The Carroll County Bureau of Facilities are requesting the services of qualified contractors to provide Paving and or re-paving of the Carroll County Agriculture Center Parking lot. This lot is used by the Agriculture Center in Westminster Maryland. This parking area has approximately three (3) acres of existing millings. These millings are currently eroding and washing across the access road and into the sediment pond.
