Site Improvements at I-59 South Super Site All proposals shall be directed to the attention of Ross Tucker, President & CEO, with the outside of the envelope marked "Bid Proposal for Site Clearing at I-59 South Super Site for the Economic Development Authority of Jones County." Contractor shall indicate certificate of responsibility number on the outside of the envelope. Basis of Award: The award, if made, will be to the lowest qualified bidder on the Base Bid Amount. The Owner intends to accept the lowest and best bid and reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids. A Certified check or Bid Bond for FIVE PERCENT (5%) of the total bid payable to The Economic Development Authority of Jones County must accompany each proposal. Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letter qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid, and such proposal will not be considered in making the award. The CONTRACTOR shall request clarifications in writing, from the ENGINEERS Office. An RFI (Request for Information) form for this purpose is attached to Section 00200.
