Renovation of a detention facility in Paris, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
As of August 3, 2022, project was awarded to Integrity Steel Supply, awarded amount is $891,504.14. Lamar County is seeking to proposals for upgrading the mechanical and control systems for the jail doors at the Lamar County Jail. A complete Request for Proposal outlining requirements for these systems by the County, submission requirements and evaluation criteria has been prepared. Proposals received late or incomplete will not be considered. Lamar County will evaluate firms based on the evaluation criteria provided in the RFP then seek negotiation with the firm that is selected based on these criteria as per Texas Government Code section 2269.
