Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 54,000-square-foot swimming pool; fitness / recreation center; and clubhouse / community center.
Design-Build construction of a new recreation facility/Leisure centre within the Holmwood suburban area of Saskatoon. The facility is expected to include a 25m pool, a leisure pool, gymnasium, fitness spaces, weight room, multipurpose rooms/child minding spaces, and supporting accessible locker/change/washroom facilities. The building will be connected to the two new high schools in partnership with the public and catholic school boards. Site address to be confirmed. TIMELINE: RFP for Owner's Engineering and architectural services has been awarded. Method of delivery will be Design-Build. Request for Qualifications from Design-Build contractors will be issued in fall 2025. ICIP funding has been approved in the amount of $40.5M. Total project cost is estimated at $65M.
