The project will include complete removal of the existing traffic signal located at the intersection of Main Street (SR-28) and Lantana Road (SR-1) and the installation of a new traffic signal, which will include radar detection and mast arm poles. The project is only located in this intersection and the termini are estimated to be on SR-28 log mile 13.705 to 13.715 and on SR-1 log mile 14.775 to 14.785. PROPOSAL CONTRACTS WILL BE ISSUED UNTIL THE TIME SET FOR OPENING BIDS A Prime Contractor must prequalify with the Department of Transportation in accordance with Section 54- 5-117 of the Tennessee Code Annotated" and Tennessee Department of Transportation Rule 1680-5-3 prequalification of contractors before biddable proposals will be furnished.
