This project is for the replacement of damaged three-strand metal railing on Bridge No. 1204000 on MD 161 over Deer Creek. Work will include the removal and replacement of the metal three-strand railings, curbs and deck overhangs, removal of temporary concrete barrier, and removal and replacement of portions of the deck using hydrodemolition. Traffic will be maintained with a temporary signal and one alternating lane of traffic. Pre-Bid Conference: A Pre Bid Conference will not be held for this project. Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon the latest electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid.
