REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SERVICES SENIOR CENTER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 455 SOMERVILLE ROAD TOWNSHIP OF BRIDGEWATER, SOMERSET COUNTY, NEW JERSEY PROPOSAL MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE 12:00 PM ON Tuesday, May 24, 2022 Pursuant to the Fair and Open Process described under N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq., the Township Requests Proposals (RFP) for the provision of professional architectural/engineering services of a qualified consulting firm for improvements to the Township's Senior Center. The Township of Bridgewater (hereinafter "The Township") is desirous of obtaining the services of a consulting firm (hereinafter "The Consultant") for the purposes of designing certain safety related upgrades to the Township's Senior Center which is located at 455 Somerville Road. The services and obligations of the consulting firm are delineated more specifically below. Specifications and instructions may be obtained on the Township Website. Any RFP Addenda will be issued on the website, and processed in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23(c)(1). All interested respondents should check the website from now through RFP opening. It is the sole responsibility of the respondent to be knowledgeable of all addenda related to this procurement. All candidates must be New Jersey licensed professionals and must be registered with the State of New Jersey, providing professional services as that term is defined in the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq. All candidates are also expected to comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-1 et seq., Law Against Discrimination, N.J. A. C. 17:27, as amended, Affirmative Action and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Each candidate shall submit proof of business registration with the New Jersey Division of Taxation (P.L. 2004, C. 57). The successful entity must have significant experience in providing the services delineated herein below.
