Renovation of a mixed-use development in Cumberland, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a communication facility; and municipal facility.

Allegany County Department of Social Services, located at 1 Frederick St, Cumberland MD 21502, is issuing this solicitation for the purpose of replacing and expanding the current building intrusion security and panic button alarm system and replacing the current employee door access system. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and supplies necessary to install a customer-owned system with the following capabilities: The system must be able to be accessed remotely by authorized Agency employees so that users can be added, deleted, and modified on demand. The system must accommodate at least two hundred fifty (250) users. The system must be able to be modified so that users have individual access rights; not all users will be able to access all areas. The system must include four (4) motion sensors to detect hallway motion. This bid must include hardware and installation for twenty-four (24) RFID access points: three (3) exterior doors, nineteen (19) interior doors, and two (2) elevator panels. The nineteen (19) interior doors must include motion sensors. This bid must include hardware and installation of one (1) Alarm Station and integration with existing six (6) stations for a total of seven (7) Alarm Stations. This bid must include installation of 40 panic buttons with the capacity to handle up to 50 panic buttons. We are also requesting a separate cost-per-door to add additional access points.
