Renovation of a municipal facility in Avonmore, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
3,860 Sq. Ft. of 5-rib Exposed Fastener Galvalume Metal Roofing and all specified components over existing shingle roof (options for 26 and 29 gauge); 192 SF of Roofing Replacement if needed; Replace Soffit and Fascia; Replace 132 LF of Gutters and 48 LF of Downspouts (options for Metal or Aluminum); all quantities approximate.Bids must be accompanied by satisfactory bid security executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid payable to "Avonmore Borough." Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, to eliminate items, or to reject any or all bids. Proposals must be upon the form furnished. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the date of the opening thereof. Contractor is to comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, the DrugFree Workplace Act of 1988, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act of 1955 as amended, the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act of 1978, as amended. Dept. of Health guidelines and orders. If the bid is over $25,000.00 the successful contractor must comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and furnish weekly payroll sheets.
