Contract Period Will Run for Three (3) Years From January 1 2026 to December 31 2028 With an Option by the Borough for an Additional Three (3) Years From January 1 2029 Through December 31 2031. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish a Performance Bond in the Amount of 10% of the Contract Price to Avonmore Borough and Having a Surety Theron Such Companyas May Be Acceptable to the Borough. Advertisement for Bids Bids Must Include: ( 1 ) Dumpster for Avonmore Borough Community Days ( 1 ) Dumpster for Maintenance Shed Unlimited Weekly Trash Removal on Call Door-to-door Household Hazardous Waste and E-waste Collection Services. The Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond Made Payable to "borough of Avonmore" in the Amount of 10% of the Total Amount of the Bid. The Borough Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or Any Portion of Any Bid Waiver Informality or Irregularity of Any Bid or in the Bidding and/or Negotiate With the Receipt of Bids. The Borough Reserves the Right to Increase or Decrease Any or All Quantities. No Bid Will Be Accepted After the Time Herein Specified Whether or Not the Bidder Has A time Other Than the Official Borough Time. In the Event of a Natural Disaster Pricing Must Include the Delivery Hauling and Disposal of ( 3 ) 30 Yard Roll-off Containers at No Additional Charge to the Borough No Bidder May Withdraw His Bid Within Sixty (60) Days After the Scheduled Closing Time for Receipt of Bids.
