Site work for a water / sewer project in Johnstown, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work involves the extension of municipal water and wastewater facilities to the Town of Johnstown Town Hall and surrounding area. The work shall be completed within the sooner of 240 calendar days after the date the Contract Times commence to run or 150 days from the delivery of water piping to the Contractor and is subject to prevailing New York State wage rates, as well as the requirements for equal employment opportunity, all as described in the Contract Documents Contracts will be awarded by the Town of Johnstown which reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any minor informalities or technicality at their discretion, and to award contracts in a manner deemed to be in the best interests of the Town of Johnstown, even if such award is to other than the lowest bidder. No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Performance and Payment Bonds shall be required.
