Northlands College is requesting tenders for the janitorial services of our buildings for the period of July 1/22 to June 30/23. Our buildings covered in this request are:
1. Head Office/Administration Building - River Campus, Air Ronge, SK; approximately 447.79 square meters
2. Mine School - River Campus, Air Ronge, SK; approximately 2,638.78 square meters
3. Trades Building - River Campus, Air Ronge, SK; approximately 464.51 square meters
4. Chemistry Lab - River Campus, Air Ronge, SK; approximately 228.31 square meters
5. Nursing Lab - Air Ronge, SK; approximately 222.96 square meters
6. La Ronge Program Center - Canoe Campus, La Ronge, SK; approximately 14,523 square meters
7. Portable 1 - Canoe Campus, La Ronge, SK; approximately 80.26 square meters
8. Portable 2 - Canoe Campus, La Ronge, SK; approximately 80.26 square meters The services requested are as follows:
Daily:
1. Sweep and mop all floors.
2. Vacuum all carpets and upholstered chairs.
3. Wipe all windowsills.
4. Disinfect all door handles and light switches twice per day - mid day and after business hours.
5. Disinfect toilets and sinks in all washrooms. Replace urinal cakes as necessary.
6. Complete OH&S cleaning tracking sheets in every building.
7. Empty all garbage bins. Remove collection from inside the building and place in large containers outside for pick-up.
8. Empty all paper recycling bins. Remove collection from inside the building and place in large containers outside for pick-up.
9. Check and refill all soap, toilet paper and paper towel dispensers as required.
10. Notify Northlands College's Procurement department when paper and soap supplies need to be reordered.
11. Ensure all interior doors and exterior deadbolts are locked and security systems are armed in each building.
Four times per year:
1. Clean and disinfect all surfaces - including tables, counters, desks, unupholstered chairs, etc.
2. Wash windows (interior and exterior).
Twice per year:
1. Steam-clean all carpets and upholstered chairs.
2. Wash walls.
3. Clean air diffusers in ceilings.
4. Strip and wax specific floors. Additional Services:
1. Clear all entrances of snow at each site listed before 8am after each snowfall.
2. Apply de-icer to all sidewalks when necessary.
3. Clean additional classrooms when requested.
4. Attend discussions regarding performance when requested. The successful bidder will be required to supply their own equipment, supplies, insurance, staff and WCB. All work is to be completed after business hours for each site.
All bidder team members are required to be bondable to enter any Northlands College property. Please submit quotes or questions in writing to Tenders@northlandscollege.sk.ca. A tour of the facilities can be scheduled if requested with a minimum of 3 business days notice.
Awarding Information:
The winning quote will be awarded before 5 PM on Friday, June 24, 2022.
The winning quote, including vendor name and value, is considered public information. The number of quotes, the bid range, and the bidders' placement in the range will be provided to each who submit a quote.
Only a completed Northlands College Consultant's Contract processed after all submitted reviews have been evaluated will be considered a contractual obligation.
