Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid: The Metropolitan Transportation Authority ("MTA"), by and through MTA Construction & Development Company ("MTA C&D"), will be issuing a two-step Request for Proposals ("RFP") seeking entities interested in providing design-build services for the replacement of Fulton Avenue and South Street Bridges in Mount Vernon, New York. In the first step, MTA C&D will issue a Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") seeking Respondents who are qualified and prepared in all respects to perform the work on schedule and within budget. In the second step, MTA C&D will issue an RFP for the Contract to the Respondents determined by MTA C&D to be qualified in the first step This Contract is to replace the existing Fulton Avenue and South Street Bridges, NY along with modifications to PB-1 Substation Yard, adjacent to the Fulton Avenue Bridge. The Design-Builder will be required to provide all planning, design, and engineering services as required for the proper and complete design and construction of the Project, including the final design of all plans, drawings, and technical specifications to meet MTA C&D's requirements. It is anticipated that this Contract will be funded in whole or in part by Federal grants. *Due to the sensitive nature of the project, reference documents will not be posted.
