A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Project Description: The project includes the following work: The Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and other incidentals for the renovation of a portion of the third floor of the existing Tateuchi East Asia Library Reading Room and hallway lobby in Gowen Hall. Renovation includes demolition of existing entry walls, repainting and cleaning of existing wall conditions, construction of new walls and storefront along with decorative wood paneling, and fabrication and installation of new circulation desk and freestanding casework/furniture elements. The project also includes related electrical and mechanical work. All construction operations must comply with the most current Covid 19 related rules and guidance from the Governor's Office. To comply with the recent COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement 21-14.1 ("Proclamation"), the University of Washington is requiring all suppliers, vendors, and contractors working on site at any UW Facility to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or receive an approved exemption. As a supplier, vendor or contractor of the University, you are responsible for 1) determining whether the Proclamation applies to you or not and 2) ensuring your representatives, including employees and subcontractors, comply with this requirement.
