Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Millcreek Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Bids are invited for the following: Removal and replacement of approximately 3,410 LF of sidewalks along both the east and west side of Berkeley Road from West 32nd Street to West 26th Street (SR 20). The new ADA compliant sidewalks shall be 5-feet in width and 4-inches thick and through the driveways it will be 6-inches thick with mesh. Any driveways that are altered will have an apron to the road surface installed. Bid will also include all restoration. All sidewalks, aprons and safety barricading of sidewalk under construction must be in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and the 2011 Proposed Accessibility Guidelines for Pedestrian Facilities in the Public Right-of-Way, published in the Federal Register for public comment on July 26, 2011. Bidder will supply a separate Lump Sum price along with an item breakdown.Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified or cashier's check or bid bond with corporate surety payable to Millcreek Township in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid price.Millcreek Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities or minor deviations in the bidding.
