The City of Los Altos is soliciting proposals to provide mothballing services for the Halsey House, a City Historical Resource located at 482 University Avenue in Redwood Grove Nature Preserve. Mothballing is required to protect and stabilize the existing condition of the Halsey House to prevent further deterioration of the structure. Submittals shall include a proposal for providing mothballing of the Halsey House. The proposal shall describe the methods, personnel, and schedule for mothballing. A detailed scope of services, including a map of the Halsey House, is outlined in the attached SCOPE OF SERVICES. The City will consider proposals from individuals or entities who meet most but not all of the qualifications set forth in this RFP. The City reserves the right to waive any of its minimum qualifications for a good cause and award the work based on the best overall value.
