Renovation of a water / sewer project in Jacksonville, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to evaluate and select a vendor that can provide economical pricing for HVAC upgrade service for three (3) Air Handler Units (AHUs) located at Ridenour, 102 Kernan Blvd, Bldg. #1, Jacksonville, FL 32225. Upgrade service include but are not limited to remove existing AHU-1, AHU-2, and AHU-3; install new JEA purchased YORK AHUs; modify piping; modify electrical; provide new duct heaters; install UV lights (shipped loose); provide 120V circuit for the UVs; modify duct work; replace corroded outdoor air duct to AHU-1 and AHU-2; insulate duct work. The work to be performed by the Company includes all labor, materials, tools and equipment, as necessary for upgrade services. The specifications ensure that the Company performs these services with skilled personnel in a safe and professional manner adhering to all JEA, City, County and State regulations and requirements. Vendor will be required to dispose removed AHUs; piping, insulations, etc. in accordance with EPA guidelines. Contract will be awarded to a single company based on price and JEA needs. A more detailed description of the Work is provided in the Technical Specifications included as Appendix A to this RFP. Work to be completed by September 30, 2022.
