Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Jacksonville, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
This project includes the miscellaneous pavement repairs at Jacksonville International Airport. The miscellaneous pavement areas include existing taxiway shoulder areas, and an existing access road. The associated site work includes full depth asphalt pavement demolition, excavation, new asphalt pavement, concrete pavement construction, pavement marking removal, new pavement markings, regrading and sodding. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid will be required to accompany bids. Contract Bonding shall also be required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in bidding. Participation in the Disadvantage Business Enterprises Program (DBE) is required. The goal for this contract is TEN percent (10%) to be performed by certified DBE firms. This project will be bid as a single contract. Bid prices may be held for up to 120 days. All bids must be submitted in accordance with the Project Manual for Contract No. C-839 which may be examined in the Jacksonville Aviation Authority Administration Building Office, or obtained from: JACOBS 200 West Forsyth Street, Suite 1520 Jacksonville, FL 32202 Attn: Lasa Ennis Telephone (904) 636-5432, Fax (904) 636-5433. It is the sole responsibility of each prospective bidder to assure that the Office of the Manager, Engineering & Construction, is kept informed of his or her current mailing address, telephone number and fax number.
