Summary of the project and the work to be carried out The Université de Montréal would like to reduce the classification of stationary machinery installations at the thermal power plant (512) during the winter period. The thermal power plant upgrade works must also be aligned with government policies on sustainable development and GHG reduction. This mandate is phase 2 of the project to decentralize and upgrade the thermal power plant. The work to be carried out essentially consists of deploying a new heating water piping network between the thermal power station and the Roger-Gaudry, René-JA Lévesque, André-Aisenstadt, Jean-Coutu and Marcelle-Jean-Coutu pavilions. The upgrade of the boiler room, the connections to the existing networks, as well as the other related works in the pavilions will be carried out as part of phase 3 (future).
