Each bid shall be accompanied by the security referred to in the contract documents, the non-collusion affidavit, the list of proposed subcontractors, and all additional documentation required by the Instructions to Bidders. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of (90) days, after the bid opening date. This is a public works project subject to prevailing wages, and the Director of Industrial Relations (DIR) has determined the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which this work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract which will be awarded to the successful bidder. Contractors are required by law to be licensed and regulated by the Contractors' State License Board. An "C33" PAINTING (in bidder's name) license classification will be required for this bid. A payment bond must be filed for a contract involving an expenditure in excess of $25,000 (Civil Code section 9550 et seq.) and may be required for contracts involving smaller expenditures at the option of the District. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal or awarded a contract for a public works project unless registered with the DIR pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptionsfrom this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 17711(a)]. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the (DIR).
