CITY OF SAN MARCOS (FIRE RFP 22-01) FOR FULL SERVICE WEED ABATEMENT & TREE MAINTENANCE SERVICES AS NEEDED the City of San Marcos, hereinafter referred to as Agency or City, invites proposals for the above stated Project and will be available on line via PlanetBids. PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING None. WORK DESCRIPTION The work consists of full service weed abatement and tree maintenance services on an as needed basis. LOCATION OF WORK Citywide. ESTIMATED BUDGET The estimated overall budget is $210,000 annually. TERM up to five (5) years. AVAILABILITY OF DOCUMENTS The City uses PlanetBids to post and receive bids/proposals. Only vendors that are registered will be eligible to submit a bid/proposal for formal solicitations with the City. PlanetBids is accessible via the City's website and direct link provided below and provides all documents at no cost to bidders/proposers. GENERAL The company to whom the Contract is awarded, and any subcontractor under such company, shall hereby ensure that minority and women business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids for subcontracts. Further, there shall be no discrimination in employment practices on the basis of race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical handicap, medical condition, marital status, age, or sex.
