Site work for a water / sewer project in Manchester, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The following is a general description of the Project: Sanitary sewer line replacement of various sizes from 8" diameter to 18" diameter pipe. Project includes open cut installation of sewer main across the Little Duck River and Hunt Creek and installation of 18" sewer main in steel casing under SR-55 (McMinnville Highway) All bidders must be licensed contractors as required by the Contractor Licensing Act of 1976 (T.C.A. Title 62, ch. 6). No bid will be opened unless the sealed envelope containing the bid provides the following information: the contractors full name as licensed, license number, the date of the licenses expiration, that part of the classification applying to the bid, and other information required by law. In the case of joint ventures, this information must be provided by all parties submitting the bid. It is the policy of the City of Manchester, Tennessee to ensure compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964: 49 CFR, Part 21. No person shall be excluded from participation in or be denied the benfits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance on the grounds of race, color, sex, disability, or national origin.
