Site work and paving for a playground / park / athletic field in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.

A summary of the Work involved in this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Mobilization, site fencing, and silt fencing. Additional fencing and other safety measures may be required to ensure public safety throughout construction. 2. Removal and disposal off-site of existing play structures completely. 3. Excavation and stockpile on-site of existing safety surfacing wood fibre, and topsoil for reuse. 4. Excavation and regrading on-site of all existing material within new pathway, basketball court and playground area, including all granular base, and subsoil into new berms. 5. Transplanting of 4 trees on site. 6. Supply and install playground area, including clear stone drainage layer, and drainage tile with connection to CB/MH. 7. Supply and installation of new play equipment as specified. NOTE - WOODFIBRE SAFETY SURFACING TO BE INSTALLED BY OTHERS (FUTURE) 8. Regrading as required, and supply and installation of new granular base and asphalt paving for widened asphalt pathway layout. 9. Supply and installation of a multi-use court as a replacement for the removed basketball court. 10. Supply and installation of Chain link fencing and installation of owner-supplied Multi-use goals at multi-use court. 11. Line Painting at multi-use court. 12. Supply and installation of topsoil and sod at pathway and playground edges. 13. Spreading of stockpiled topsoil & wood fibre on berms, and restoration of disturbed areas with seeding as a result of the Work within this Contract.
