The City of Pasadena Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services seeks a vendor to provide maintenance services for the pond at The Gamble House, located at 4 Westmoreland Pl., Pasadena CA 91103. Access to the pond will be available to service regularly. Maintenance will be inclusive of: Weekly periodic visits Periodic cleaning of filters Clearing intake basket Removing debris from pump Checking for proper pump operation Trimming of water plants Some algae removal (to keep under control: complete removal is not possible, nor healthy for the system) Skimming and removal of floating debris Water changes and replenishment Inspecting fish, aquatic life, and overall health of the pond, and Basic observation of water quality, determination/prediction of potential problems In addition, work will include replanting aquatic plants as needed. City of Pasadena seeks service for labor & basic supplies on regular weekly visits (maximum of one hour per visit): contingent upon accidents or extreme conditions beyond the vendor's control. Special circumstances requiring extra costs (labor and/or materials) will be executed only upon written orders and/or verbal approval by City of Pasadena staff.
