Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Milton, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Description of Work. The proposed construction consists of approximately 1,300 feet of water main replacement including 470 feet of water services, fire hydrants, valves, and other appurtenances, 2,400 square yards of concrete pavement replacement, RRFB crosswalk modifications, landscaping, and other miscellaneous items of work. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bidders bond for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder Instructions. If a successful Bidder fails to execute and file the required contract and bond, Bidder agrees to forfeit bid deposit to the City as liquidated damages. This Bid will remain open for 45 days after the date of Bid opening or for such longer period of time that Bidder may agree to in writing upon request of Owner. Rejection of Bids. The City of Milton reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities. Unless the Bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder.
