Saving Project...

Site work for a water / sewer project in Karnes City, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

This project consists of installing approximately 865 linear feet of 8" PVC (SDR-16) sanitary sewer line by open trench and boring under TX-123 and US-181. The proposed sanitary sewer line will include installing new manholes, connecting to an existing manhole and concrete cradles. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each proposal. The successful respondent will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible Surety Company, authorized to do business in the State of Texas. The deadline to ask questions is 6/10/2022 9:00 AM CST The City of Karnes City expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities. The project will be awarded to the highest scoring respondent based on set evaluation criteria (included in the Bidding Documents). A respondent's failure to respond to the requested qualifications inquiry may result in the proposal being deemed non-responsive. Proposals may be held by The City of Karnes City for a period not to exceed 60 days from the due date of the proposals for the purpose of reviewing the proposals and researching respondent's qualifications prior to the contract award.
