This project consists of installing approximately 1,170 linear feet of 8" PVC (SDR-16) sanitary sewer line by open trench. The proposed sanitary sewer line will include installing new manholes, connecting to existing manholes and concrete cradles. Proposals will be received for a single Contract. Proposals shall be provided on a unit price basis as indicated on the Bid Form. The City of Karnes City expressly reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities. The project will be awarded to the highest scoring respondent based on set evaluation criteria (included in the Contract Documents). A respondent's failure to respond to the requested qualifications inquiry may result in the proposal being deemed non-responsive. Proposals may be held by City of Karnes City for a period not to exceed 60 days from the due date of the proposals for the purpose of reviewing the proposals and researching respondent's qualifications prior to the contract award. There will not be a pre-proposal conference for this project. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted at least 7 days prior to the opening and will be accepted only in writing through CivCast.
