Renovation of an educational facility in Hemet, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Project consists of LCD Projector Installation Location- Acacia Middle School 1200 E Acacia Ave Hemet, CA 92543 This project is to ceiling mount projectors in classrooms at Acacia MS for 57 classrooms. District will provide 57 projectors for this project. All classrooms have drop ceiling for this project. Contractor will install ceiling projector mount, projector, HDMI cable, 3.5mm audio cable (shielded) from projector to wall faceplate, PixiePlus control module with RS-232 connector and program control unit for On/Off, Volume Up/Down, HDMI1 and HDMI2. A wall faceplate with HDMI, and 3.5mm audio, ceiling mount speakers (self-amplified), projector screen and electrical for projector and speakers. Projector screens to be hung from clips at ceiling grid. Contractor will change existing dual electrical outlet at ceiling to a quad outlet. Contractor to provide 15' HDMI cable, and 3.5mm audio cable (shielded) (Wall to Computer). All cables will be pulled inside walls. If cables cannot be pulled inside walls, contractor will need Hemet USD approval to pull cables in Panduit raceway. All cables in ceiling will be ran in J-hooks. Contractor will test all video, audio and Pixie functions. All input/output switching will be at the projector. Contractor will remove exiting screens, projectors, speakers and mounts. (Old screens, projectors, speakers and mounts returned to district office) Room numbers and maps of school will be provided to contractors. Contractor will provide and replace ceiling tiles where ceiling items have been relocated / damaged. Contractor will remove old screen bracket, patch and repair to match surround. All cables will be dressed in a clean, uniform manner consistent with Industry Standards and secured in ceiling with J-hooks. Contractor is responsible for removing all trash, clean up, vacuum and wipe off any dust and debris after completion of installation. No food or drinks in classrooms. All bids shall be on the form provided by the District. Each bid must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents, including, but not limited to, the Instructions to Bidders. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California Contractor Licenses: B, C-7 or C-10. The Bidder's license(s) must be active and in good standing at the time of the bid opening and must remain so throughout the term of the Contract. As security for its Bid, each Bidder shall provide with its Bid form either a a bid bond issued by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, cash, or a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Hemet Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. This bid security shall be a guarantee that the Bidder shall, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the Project. The successful Bidder may substitute securities for any monies withheld by the District to ensure performance under the Contract, in accordance with the provisions of Public Contract Code 22300. The District shall award the Contract, if it awards it at all, to the lowest responsive responsible Bidder based on the base bid amount only. The District's Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. If the District awards the Contract, the security of unsuccessful Bidder(s) shall be returned within sixty (60) days from the time the award is made. Unless otherwise required by law, no Bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening. (Above Projector) No surge protectors in ceiling. Projector installation will include the following: a. Install 1 - HDMI, 1 - 3.5mm audio cable (shielded), including all necessary raceway, boxes, and faceplates 18" from floor. b. Provide 1 - HDMI, and 1 - 3.5mm audio cables from wall to connect owner-supplied computer to system. Cables 15' length. c. PixiePlus control installed on wall 39" bottom from floor and with RS232 connector to projector d. Ceiling mounted speakers to be located midway between front and rear wall and midway between projector and sidewalls. e. Projector direction toward teacher wall. Controls and inputs by teacher's desk left or right side of teacher wall. Full Installations for the following rooms. (Premier ceiling projector mount, PixiePlus control module, Speakers. 110v 15 amp electrical in ceiling with 4 outlets. HDMI, and 3.5mm (Shielded) cables. Face place with HDMI, and Audio. Screen mounted to wall or ceiling and Projector installed) Rooms: 104, 106, 121-127, 201-204, 209-212, 301-304, 311, 312, 314 501-504, 511-514, 601, 603, 605, 606, 608, 610, 702-712, 801-806 Rooms: 101 and 102 These rooms have high ceiling. Full installation listed above with exception of mount and speakers.
