Bids submitted without a required bid surety will not be considered. Where indicated, successful bidder must furnish a 100% performance bond and labor and payment bond for contracts subject to Title 37 Chapters 12 and 13 of the Rhode Island General Laws. All bonds must be furnished by a surety company authorized to conduct business in the State of Rhode Island. Performance bonds must be submitted within 21 calendar days of the issuance of a tentative notice of award. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. If you are an interested contractor and wish to be listed as a bidder, please notify our editorial staff at addtobidlist@constructconnect.com. a) Remove and replace approximately 12,561 square feet of membrane roofing. b) Provide new roof construction consisting of provision of a new a fully adhered multi-ply modified bitumen membrane system with 20 year warranty on cover board, new rigid insulation (R-30 minimum) and vapor barrier. Alternate No. 1: Alternate 1 describes the sequence that is necessary to perform the work in two phases, if there are delays in the supply chain of tapered insulation or other materials. The contractor shall hold the price for the amount of time necessary between phase 1 and phase 2 to complete the work. Alternate price(below) is the additional cost, over the base bid, to perform the work in two phases as described below: a) Phase 1: 1) Remove and replace approximately 12,561 square feet of membrane roofing. 2) Provide new construction consisting of provision of two layer vapor barrier roofing system. Provide flashing at curbs, vents and exhaust fans. Provide temporary flashing at perimeter stone coping. b) Phase 2: 1) Provide new roof construction consisting of provision of a new a fully adhered multi-ply modified bitumen membrane system with 20 year warranty on cover board, new rigid insulation (R-30 minimum) over two layers of vapor barrier installed in Phase 1.
