Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Carlisle Brks, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The Borough of Carlisle has begun the development and construction of the Fairground Avenue Linear Park which includes a skate spot on Lot A and passive recreation park and playground on Lot D at Fairground Avenue, Carlisle, PA 17013. The successful bidder will be required to post a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid price, labor and material payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid price and maintenance bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price. This project is fully funded through the PA Keystone Park, Recreation and Conservation Fund. For this reason, the following must be met: 1. Prevailing Wage Act - all workmen employed on the project must be paid the prevailing minimum wage under the Prevailing Wage Act. Information on the PWA may be found at www.dil.state.pa.us/laborlaw by clicking on the link to Prevailing Wage Act. See appendix D. a. The PWA does apply to all contractors and sub-contractors. Please contact the Department of Labor and Industry - Bureau of Labor Law compliance at 717-705-7256 with questions about the PWA. The Carlisle Borough Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the Borough of Carlisle.
