Project Description: Maintenance of the concrete floodways will include removal and replacement of joint sealant and crack repair. The sealant used to replace what is currently in place should be a polyurethane grout meant for outdoor use. There are two segments of floodwall: The Hammond segment of flood wall between Northcote Avenue and Columbia Avenue, and the Munster segment of flood wall between Northcote and Columbia Avenue. Each segment is approximately 4,317 LFT. Submittal Requirements: Contractor shall submit a unit cost based upon the detail and specifications provided. Contractor shall provide the unit cost for the following items: 1. Expansion Joint Repair $/LFT Assume 1000 LFT 2. Wall Crack Repair $/LFT Assume 200 LFT Contractor will be required to provide a Certificate of Insurance prior to beginning work. The work should be completed by the Spring of 2023 once the weather allows per the material specification. Contractor is encouraged to participate in the MWBE Commission goals as adopted in Resolution Number 2015-04.
