Renovation of a water / sewer project in Redlands, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Dearborn 1761 Booster is a 2 stage, 16" vertical turbine pump. The existing pump has been removed from the site and has had a tear down and inspection performed by a local pump contractor, See Exhibit "A". The bowl assembly was found to be reusable. The column pipe and shafting will need to be replaced. The pump head is in good condition. The pump was originally designed for a solid shaft motor and will need to be modified for a hollow shaft motor application. City will deliver pumping equipment to awarded contractor for rebuild. City will provide 100HP hollow shaft motor. The intent is for the contractor to rebuild and reinstall the pumping equipment.
