As of July 6, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The project includes the construction of a Low-Pressure Sewer System, approximately 7,520 linear feet of high density polyethylene (HPDE) force main sewer pipe ranging in size from 2-4 the construction of flushing connections, an air release and cleanout chamber and 49 lateral assemblies. Construction will be by open trenching or as an Add/Alternate by directional drilling method. Construction will occur within Township and State legal rights-of-way and easements, and will involve restoration, erosion, and sedimentation controls, and all other work specified herein or shown on the Contract Drawings All bids must include lump sum or unit prices to be considered for award by the Township at their option, after review of the bid documents. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft or bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the Total Base Bid Amount made payable to the Township. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals or portions thereof.
