As of July 18, 2022, project was awarded to Satchel Construction, LLC but awarded amount is not available. The Contractor shall use materials and products in the work which are of top quality. The Contractor shall assume full responsibility for protection, storage, safety, and damage to equipment and materials until substantial completion. The Contractor shall use skilled work persons who are thoroughly trained and experienced in the necessary crafts and trades. The Contractor shall correct any and all work rejected by the City of Goose Creek as unacceptable or nonconforming to contract documents within three (3) days of notice of rejection. The Contractor shall coordinate the work and schedule the timing so as not to conflict with any City of Goose Creek Recreation activities. The Contractor shall cooperate with reasonable scheduling requirements of the City of Goose Creek. The contractor shall provide a schedule to the Recreation Department Representative (Philip Sweat). The Contractor shall provide all required safety equipment at no additional cost to the City of Goose Creek. The Contractor shall clean site of any debris which may hamper his ability to perform work as specified. The Contractor shall remove and legally dispose of all debris, unless other- wise indicated. -Re-skin/repair existing 50x80x12 metal frame building to include: o Wall panels o Roof panels o Insulation o Bringing building up to code o Replacing two roll-up style doors (1) 10x10 and (1) 12x10 o New paneling will enclose the structure to reduce wildlife entrance into structure ie along slab and wall to roof seams o Replace gutters and down spouts o Provide penetrations for existing utilities and services o Replace existing standard entry doors -Paint existing office space within metal frame building: o 3640 sqft of sheetrock walls and ceilings o 8 doors and frames o Prep o To include all trim, door frames, window frames, chair rails, and baseboards -Erect new pre-engineered steel frame structure ~30x50x10 o To match repairs to existing metal structure o Set on a monolithic slab no less than 6" reinforced concrete with machine finish o The new structure is to be placed 70' east of main structure to replace standing pole style shed o To include (2) 10x10 roll-up doors with (1) single standard entry door o Gutters and downspouts o Existing pole style shed to be removed by owner -Electrical services in new structure to be provided by others -Engineered drawings and permits and fees must be included -Any soil samples and compaction requirements pricing must be included prior to bid acceptance -There are no existing drawings or site plans We would like to start work as early as July 2022 and should be completed no later than November 2022. The contract may be canceled or any portion thereof at any time during the term of service and such cancellations shall be effective upon giving thirty (30) days written notice.
