Renovation of a mixed-use development in Thompson, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and library.

**As of September 6, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Town of Thompson is seeking bids for replacement of a Boiler, located at the Thompson Public Library/Community Center, 934 Riverside Drive in the North Grosvenordale section of Thompson, CT. To replace the existing boiler and necessary associated components which is original to the building (1994). Expectations include: -remove and dispose of the existing boiler -build in place a new Weil McLain M#580 boiler with a new Beckett oil burner -install new operating and safety controls -pipe in the water and oil lines -make new flue connections -wire in power and controls -start and set up for proper operations Bids shall include a detailed list of the cost of labor and materials, a description of work needed to be performed and a timetable for completion. We request work be completed prior to the 2022 winter season. A minimum of three (3) references must be provided with the bid. Proof of Insurance must be provided. See attached Insurance Document for mandatory coverages. The Town of Thompson reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, or any part thereof, and to waive any informality in the process to serve the best interests of the Town of Thompson. The Town reserves the right, either before or after the opening of proposals, to ask any proposer to clarify its proposal or to submit additional information that the Town, in its sole discretion, deems desirable. Prices must be firm for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days following the bid opening. Bid withdrawal may be made only with the consent of the Town of Thompson.
