Saving Project...

Renovation of a municipal facility in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

This project is to perform field installation for a portion of the photovoltaic panels that are currently installed in the atrium windows, and replace certain select parts of the associated energy system (ie. Inverters, monitoring station, etc.) to restore the generation capacity. This is for the installation scope only, as BGIS has procured the associated long-lead materials for this project, including solar panels, glass panels and gaskets. Investigation referred to in background has been completed by consultant. Please order remaining materials and install items as per attached IFT Drawings and Specs. As a summary, this includes removing 25 defective panels, replacing these with the 25 new versions, replacing the 3 cracked windows, replace disconnect switches, removal and install of 4 new inverters, install and configure new monitoring screen, and functional verification/commissioning of entire solar energy system to the grid and the other ethernet monitoring system. No Award-Insufficient Bids received. Plans to retender has not been determined.
