Renovation of a municipal facility in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The City of Yellowknife wishes to retrofit the two downstairs, public washrooms in City Hall to be barrier free washrooms. The washrooms are intended to be barrier free and universal that meet the National Building Code 2020 with precedent from CSA B651-18 Accessible Design for the Built Environment Standard. The intention is to retrofit these washrooms to the highest level of accessibility possible so all work should reflect the highest standard of the two documents.
