Renovation of a water / sewer project in South Elgin, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
OWNER: The Fox River Water Reclamation District hereby gives notice that sealed Bids will be received for the Project: 2022 ADP WRF Belt Filter Press Rehabilitation Electronic Bidding and Contract Documents may be obtained for no fee by emailing jkerrigan@frwrd.com. Bids will only be accepted in paper form, sealed and delivered as described above. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Work consists of the rehabilitation of three belt filter presses used for the dewatering of digested sludge. This shall include replacement of deteriorated components, the cleaning of the structural frame and intact components, and the re-galvanization of highly corroded areas of the structural frame, providing all accessories, tools, and appurtenances for completion of work, in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. BID REJECTION / ACCEPTANCE: OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any informalities in bidding or to accept the Bid or Bids, which best serve the interest of OWNER.
