Project Description: Project consists of the replacement of the walk-in units. F. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. General Building Construction / Food Service Construction (GC) However, this time period is extended to 120 days if the award of a contract is delayed due to the required approval by another government agency, the sale of bonds or the award of a grant. B.Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities to the extent permitted by Pennsylvania Law. 1.4SITE VISIT A.Prospective bidders can arrange a visit to the site, located at 2179 S. Queen Street, York, PA 17402, by contacting the Owner. 1.5DOCUMENTS A.Digital Bid Documents: Bidding documents are available at no cost via the PennBid Program. Note that bidders must download documents from PennBid in order to be included on the Bidders List, and to receive subsequent addenda or project-related notifications. 1.6TIME OF COMPLETION A.Successful bidders shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. In lieu of liquidated damages, Contractors will be responsible to reimburse YCST the cost to rent a temporary refrigeration unit until the project is completed in full if work extends beyond the final completion. 1.
