The SCBE requests bids for MSCS GRASS CUTTING SERVICES - LABOR ONLY. The specifications are contained in the Design Project Manual. Responses submitted must meet or exceed all requirements. Bids that do not meet or exceed all requirements will be considered non-responsive. The stripping of existing vegetation on the south end of the property where retaining wall was removed while maintaining slope for proper grade and drainage. A Notice of Intent to Award is written notification that a vendor has been selected for a contract award. Notice of Intent to Award is sent for contracts requiring School Board approval. This letter is not a guarantee of award. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject or accept the recommendation submitted. If the Board accepts and approves the recommendation, an executed agreement will be submitted to the successful vendor. If the Board rejects the recommendation, SCS shall rescind the Notice of Intent to Award. SCBE has set a Minority or Woman-owned Business Enterprises goal of 37% for this project, the Bidder shall take affirmative action to ensure that minority-owned and women-owned businesses, which have been certified by the City of Memphis, Shelby County Government and/or Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority, are utilized when possible as sources of supplies, equipment, construction and services for Shelby County Schools. The anticipated terms of this contract shall be (1) year(s). The work shall begin after issuance of the "Notice to Proceed. Estimated start time is 06/21/2022. Substantial completion date is projected at 08/30/2022. Final completion date is projected at 09/30/2022.
