Renovation of a municipal facility in Independence, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Scope: The Iowa Department of Administrative Services will be receiving bids for Storage Building Roof Replacement at DHS IMHI 2277 Iowa Avenue, Independence, Iowa 60644. The Iowa Department of Administrative Services anticipates construction to begin on April 03, 2023 and end on June 30, 2023. Bid Package #01 General Construction: Trade Contractor shall include all of the following, but not limited to, as part of the contract: 1. General Construction includes all work associated to RFB 924700 01, 9247.00 DHS IMHI Storage Bldg Roof Replacement. 2. Includes Divisions: 00, 01, 06 and 07 in their entirety. 3. Includes demolition and disposal of existing roof. (See appendix for reference to asbestos). Bids to be sent directly to the Iowa IMPACTS system as stated in the Specifications. Selected bidder will be contracted directly with the Iowa DAS. Questions must be submitted by 2:00 pm, January 20, 2023, to the Issuing Office
