Period of Contract: The period of this contract shall be from date of award through June 30, 2025, with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year terms. All Inquiries for Information should be directed to Cassandra Smith, Procurement Specialist, , Cassandra.smith@portsk12.com; All questions must be submitted via email to purchasing@portsk12.com before 5:00 PM, August 1, 2022 and shall include the solicitation number in the subject. The purpose of this Request for Propsoals is to contract with an offeror(s) to provide lighting pole inspections on an as needed basis for the School Board of the City of Portsmouth, (hereinafter referred to as PPS) for approximately three (3) locations throughout Portsmouth, VA. Contractor to provide lighting pole inspections. Inspections shall include an in-depth visual inspection, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and engineering and design assessment of each lighting pole to determine the condition of the pole, foundation and ancillary features. Contractor shall perform inspections in accordance with American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) procedures, American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards and American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) specifications.
