Proposed work on each deteriorated one-lane, single-span bridge will include removal of the truss from its foundation, disassembly and rehabilitation of truss members (with in-kind replacement as necessary), substructure rehabilitation as needed, painting, reassembly, and placement of the truss back onto its foundations. Minimal work is anticipated on roadway approaches. Each bridge will require a separate professional services agreement, and a separate construction letting. Each will require historic bridge analysis and all three stages of INDOT PE design. LOI should include description of experience in historic bridge analysis and design.
