Bridge #51 is a prestressed concrete box beam structure to be replaced with a longer and wider single-span spread box beam structure. It is estimated that the new bridge will be approximately 1.5 feet higher. Right-way acquisition will be needed, as will utility relocation. Bridge rail and approach guardrail upgrades are also proposed.
