Each will require a separate professional services agreement, and a separate construction letting. Bridge #24 is a reinforced concrete slab bridge that is to be replaced with either a single-span concrete slab or spread box beams. The new bridge will be wider, longer, and likely raised by as much as one foot. It is anticipated that channel realignment may be required. Right-way acquisition will be necessary and some utility relocation may be needed. Bridge rail and approach guardrail upgrades are also proposed.
