Renovation of a municipal facility in Niagara Falls, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 3,000-square-foot municipal facility.
The Request for Proposals is for the sale, remediation, and redevelopment of 4287 Witmer Road in the Town of Niagara, NY. The property is improved with a vacant single-story, slab-on-grade, 3,000 sq.ft. brick building and associated parking lot. The site is zoned Light Industrial. Niagara County has Temporary Incidence of Ownership of the 1.72 acre parcel and will transfer the property as is to the selected respondent who will be responsible for the remediation and redevelopment of the property. Numerous environmental investigations have been conducted at the site and documented environmental issues exist that need to be addressed prior to redevelopment. To help summarize all of the environmental data, an action plan and analysis of remedial alternatives was prepared in August 2020 and is included as Appendix B in the RFP.
