Tenders are invited to provide Boilermakers, Electrical Mechanics, Machinists, Hoisting Engineers, Carpenters, Pipefitters, Architectural Ironworkers, Structural Ironworkers, Pipecoverers, Plumbers, Truck Drivers, Painters, Sheetmetal Workers, and other classifications of labor, if needed, and necessary supervision together with tools and materials for necessary repairs and alterations to boilers, steam generating units, duct work, pumps, blowers and various sewage and sludge handling equipment at the Stickney, OBrien and Calumet Water Reclamation Plants and other installations of the Water Reclamation District. The major portion of the work is at the Stickney Water Reclamation Plant. The Contract is scheduled to cover twenty-four months. The estimated cost of the work under this Contract is not to exceed the following: Group A - Stickney WRP Area $7,297,800.00 Group B - Calumet WRP Area $2,997,600.00 Group C -North Side WRP Area $2,000,000.00 Address: ROOM 508, 100 EAST ERIE STREET CHICAGO, ILLINOIS 60611-3154 . The District reserves the right to issue a Contract or Contracts to any bidder or bidders for any Group or combination of Groups as it may deem to be in the best interest of the District to do so. The Bidder must sign the Signature Section on UP-5. Failure to submit a signed MBE, WBE, SBE Utilization Plan will result in a bid being deemed as non-responsive and the bid will be rejected. Also, if a waiver is sought, the Bidder is required to sign pages UP-5 and UP-6, the Waiver Request Form; failure to do so will be viewed as non-responsive and the bid will be rejected. The associated goals for all Groups are 20% Minority-owned Business Enterprises, 10% Women-owned Business Enterprises, 10% Small Business Enterprises and 3% Veterans Business Enterprises. The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals.
